Greetings! Well, I survived the week! A very busy and fun week it has been! The TV interview on the local news went OK -  I think.  You can be the judge and watch for yourself! It was a fun experience, and I had to do it LIVE. So I got to play entertainment news anchor...fun stuff and everyone involved seemed pleased. There were two segments, the first down in the gallery, and the second one upstairs and in my studio.

The fun continues on WHBU as well! I have been dubbed WHBU's Artist in Residence, and will continue to do the show on a monthly basis. We have plans for me to start doing some artist interviews, and re-play them on-the-air during my upcoming shows. So be sure to check back each month for the latest and greatest of AM Radio!

Well, enough of this...what are you waiting for? Watch and Listen and have fun! Let me know what you think of my 'broadcast career!'

I'm off to get a NAP, as two very early mornings in a row for me has started to drain that precious Cagney energy...and if I'm going to be worth anything at tonight's 2nd Friday Open Studio event...I had better go and re-charge!

Until next time...Rock on Everybody!

WHBU - Cagney King, Artist in Residence -  October Broadcast

That's right! The folks from FOX 59 AM News will be conducting some live interviews from the Gallery and from my studio!

Be sure to tune-in this Thursday, October 9th beginning at 7:00 AM to catch me on camera.  Myself, along with some other artists will be talking up our 2nd Friday Open Studio Events, as well as our beautiful building and our awesome studios. I sure hope that old saying that the camera adds 10 pounds isn't true! Guess we will find out!

As usual, I'll try to get a copy of the segment for my website...but that might be a tad bit trickier than radio interviews...but I have some friends at the ready to record it and try to help me out!

Speaking of Radio! I will also be making my return visit to the studios of WHBU and the Leland Franklin show on Friday Morning from 7-8 AM. Once again, I will try and sweet talk the engineer into recording it so that you can all enjoy!

SO, tune-in and watch and listen if you can!

For those of you who really know me, this means yes, two, count them...2...early mornings this week! I am really going to need a nap to be able to fully enjoy my next 2nd Friday Open Studio Event! Whew!! Oh well, if I don't get that nap, I will at least be an easy punch bag for you all to poke at...

Until next time - ROCK ON Everybody...and I hope to see you soon!
