Hello everyone! My goodness...I have had several e-mails asking where I have been...this makes me feel very good that I (my blog) is missed! SO...I had better reach out to everyone, eh? I am in the upper part (not the UP, but close) of Michigan. It is beautiful here, and the weather has been really great! I am spending a couple of weeks working on some drawings and various other projects that I will be excited to share when I return to Studio 8.

Internet is hard to come by up here (must be all these crazy trees!), and I have not had access to e-mail, until I came across a little bar in town just down from Lake Heron beach that offers free wi-fi! So I am taking advantage of that little resource. The bar is called The Office, so I have been joking that I need to go to 'the office' for a little work and relaxation! So...the computer is hot, and the beer is cold...and I can see the beach from here...not bad at all!

Oh yes...and I did forget to post a picture of the finished firetruck from my paint out...so here that is...thank you for the reminder! The picture didn't turn out real well, but you get the idea.

Our last 2nd Friday event was HOOT! Lots of people came out and I had some of the best conversations and feedback on my artwork yet! It was great fun, and I was very happy to see everyone, and meet SO MANY new people!

Well, I guess I would be lieing a little if I said I wasn't lost...because I have gotten a little bit lost in the beach and beautiful scenery of Michigan...but, I'm not lost forever...I guess one of these days I will have to think about heading back home. Besides, I miss my studio terribly...and am excited to get back and get back to work on the various projects I have going! And I'm sure I will need some time to figure out how to remove the sand from the various and curious places I keep finding it! Until next time...ROCK ON, eh?
