Lights - Camera - ACTION! Cagney on TV!? 10/07/2008

That's right! The folks from FOX 59 AM News will be conducting some live interviews from the Gallery and from my studio!

Be sure to tune-in this Thursday, October 9th beginning at 7:00 AM to catch me on camera.  Myself, along with some other artists will be talking up our 2nd Friday Open Studio Events, as well as our beautiful building and our awesome studios. I sure hope that old saying that the camera adds 10 pounds isn't true! Guess we will find out!

As usual, I'll try to get a copy of the segment for my website...but that might be a tad bit trickier than radio interviews...but I have some friends at the ready to record it and try to help me out!

Speaking of Radio! I will also be making my return visit to the studios of WHBU and the Leland Franklin show on Friday Morning from 7-8 AM. Once again, I will try and sweet talk the engineer into recording it so that you can all enjoy!

SO, tune-in and watch and listen if you can!

For those of you who really know me, this means yes, two, count them...2...early mornings this week! I am really going to need a nap to be able to fully enjoy my next 2nd Friday Open Studio Event! Whew!! Oh well, if I don't get that nap, I will at least be an easy punch bag for you all to poke at...

Until next time - ROCK ON Everybody...and I hope to see you soon!

I am 98% Artist (110% at heart - but bad at math) and 2% human being. I keep working hard in the hopes that one day my art story will be like the great artist fairytale. You know the one - the one about how the poor, struggling artist rocking on the edge of insanity is toiling away in her studio day after day, when one day a handsome person comes to see her work, and decides that she should be rescued. From that day on they pay her to paint, pimp out her work and buy her beer. Everyone lives happily ever after.
        That...would be cool.
Until then...I'll just keep trying to put square pegs in round holes.
